SCIENCE BEHIND MAN

  • The science of the living beings in general, and especially of the human individual, has not made such great progress.
  • It remains in the descriptive state. Man is an indivisible whole of extreme complexity. No simple representation of him can be obtained.
  • There is no method capable of apprehending him simultaneously in his entirety, his parts, and his relations with the outer world.
  • To analyze ourselves, we are obliged to seek the help of various techniques and, therefore, to utilize several sciences.
  • Naturally, all these sciences arrive at a different conception of their common object. They abstract only from man what is attainable by their special methods.
  • And those abstractions, after they have been added together, are still less rich than the concrete fact.
  • They leave behind them a residue, too important to be neglected.
  • Anatomy, chemistry, physiology, psychology, pedagogy, history, sociology, political economy does not exhaust their subject. Man, as known to the specialists, is far from being the concrete man, the real man.
  • He is nothing but a schema, consisting of other schemata built up by thetechniques of each science.
  • He is, at the same time, the corpse dissected by the anatomists, the consciousness observed by the psychologists and the great teachers ofthe spiritual life, and the personality which introspection shows to everyone as lying in the depth of himself.
  • He is the chemical substances constituting the tissues and humors of thebody. As a result of outer and inner science Yoga is considered as the original mind-body medicine that has enabled individuals to attain and maintain sukha sthanam, a dynamic sense of physical, mental, and spiritual well being.
  • Bhagavad-Gita defines Yoga as samatvam (Samtuvan Yoga Ujyathe) meaning thereby that Yoga is equanimity at all levels, a state where in physical homeostasis and mental equanimity occur in a balanced and healthy harmony.
  • Yoga is a pure science just like mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
  • Yoga is an ancient science practiced from vedic period and a practical science as it is practiced and passed on from generations to Generations.
  • Yoga is a philosophical science as it is based on many scriptures from Vedic period still now.
  • Yoga is an existential, experiential, experimental science,as it is empirically verified by scientific validations in many proficient International journals and has been accepted as an essential practice for the present situation.
  • Yoga is experienced during one’s life. It enables one to become proficient, skillful, and excellent in everything. Yoga allows one to access the better side of life with greater ease, whether it is through increased optimism hope positivity and creativity or improving one’s own understanding, thoughts, communication, personality and nature.
  • This allows one to face different situations in life in a better manner.
  • Yoga is a process by which one can acquire excellence. With meditation, with work, with love and even with hate, excellence is the drive.
  • Every experience is taken to its culmination. Yoga gives that ability.
  • With this ability, whatever you do in life, you will always be able to find abalance between your external involvement and internal aspiration.
